Does anyone have any suggestions for a girls weekend getaway in October? Festivals, resorts???

This is a big country. Any hints on where you are or how far you wanna go? Fall in the northeast for leaf changing season is beautious. Spa? Beach?

From Minneapolis, we are willing to drive 3 hours

a group of 8 gals, in their mid-twenty's want to have some day activities and fun night life.
