Today is the day! I have been waiting for this trip since the beginning of the year. My girlfriends, summer shorts in hand, cameras ready and a bolt of excitement running through my body! New Orleans - We're Here!!!!!!
Our residence for the 4 day trip in New Orleans is the Hotel St. Pierre in the French Quarter. This hotel has charm and lots of character that I did not expect judging from the exterior. As soon as we get here, we were warmly welcomed and were greeted by staff members with smiles and recommendations on where to visit in New Orleans. The lobby was well decorated with antique furniture and a beautiful chandelier. Our room, the Louis Armstrong room is perfect for a group of four girls. The room has plenty of space to comfortably move around and if four young ladies can comfortably fit in a room for 3 nights, well that’s saying something about the space. Our rooms were ready upon our arrival with the exception of one group. The hotel had no problem putting their luggage in a securely stored room while explored New Orleans!
The outdoor patio and pools are clean and quiet. I believe our group of girls caused the most ruckus. Our pool experience was calming and relaxing. The temperature of the pool was just right. For those of you who have little ones the pool offers somewhat of a ‘sitting’ stool that sounds the interior of the pool. We girls were able to sit around the pool and just talk and have a few drinks.
All in all, our first days experience with Hotel St. Pierre was a great one. I would recommend anyone to stay here. Kid friendly? Definitely!
