Getting to the Superdome

What is the best way to get to the Superdome from the French Quarter for a Saints game?

That's easy use Google Maps. If you wanted to you can walk from the French Quarter to the Superdome.

Absolutely walk, unless you have a disability (like I do) that prevents it. I tried to google map the route but couldn't find it exactly, but we've walked that route several times.

What google mapping do you need? Walk up Bourbon to Poydras. Turn right on Poydras and walk to Superdome. If you're closer to the river than Bourbon, all the better - walk straight up your street to Poydras, turn right and keep walking. Poydras runs in a diagonal that tapers closer to the Quarter the farther you get from the Superdome.

Thanks. I didn't realize it was that close; just over a mile from our hotel, easily walkable.

My friend injured his knee, so walking is out of the question. So, now what is the best way to get from the middle of the French Quarter to the Superdome?
