We are planning a bachelorette party for April 8 - 10. The group will be 5 - 7 women between the ages of 24 and 30.
Our original plan was for South Beach. Martini's and Stilletoes! However, the prices in South Beach are pretty steep and with people already travelling to get there, we decided to start looking for a slightly cheaper location.
Ft. Lauderdale is more reasonable priced, the hotels are nice, the beaches are beautiful, bars are fun, and shopping is just as good. However, I have only been there once and it wasn't a real party trip.
Any suggestions for hotels, restaurants, and bars/clubs? We are planning typical ridiculous bachelorette festivities

The W?
The Ritz-Carlton
The Marriott Harbor Beach?
That's if you want to be close to the beach with that Marriott being right ON the beach as opposed to across the street/highway.
The bars and clubs I frequent you gals wouldn't be much interested in I'm afraid but have a great time.
Hello buddabean,
Im planning a bachelorette and am in the exact same situation as you. Same age range of group, same reason for not doing Miami. Can you give any tips based on your experience? Good restaurants for groups? Bars? bars walking distance from beach? Did you need a car? any tips would be helpful!!
Thanks.
