Does anybody know anything about the Francisco Bay Inn in SF? Good location, rooms etc? Price quoted on Orbitz is $74/night in June. Other recommendations at this price level very welcome.

The area it is in is great--Lombard Street is walking distance to Fisherman's Wharf. It also has some of the best weather in the city. Priceline usually has even better deals then Orbitz but $74 isn't too bad for San Francisco in June. I have never heard of the Francisco Bay Inn, but most of the motels on Lombard are OK.
Thanks for that
We stayed there in September last year for two nights. Good location, reasonable price and no complaints! Reception staff were most helpful on telling us where to visit, where wasn't that safe to walk etc. etc.
Forgot to say that there is free parking!
