Can anyone suggest a nice inexpensive hotel near (within 15 - 20 minutes) the Foxwood Casino in CT? Has anyone stayed at the Ramada Inn Norwich?

I've never stayed there, but I would suggest you stay in Mystic rather than in Norwich. Parts of Norwich are nice, but parts are definitely not as nice. Mystic is a bit nicer, and lots more to see and do than in Norwich. There are a lot more hotels in that area, and you could probably find some relatively less expensive ones. Also, worth a trip to the Mystic Aquarium and Seaport, while you're in the area.
stay at the comfort suites, they have a shuttle that will take you to and back from both casinos, it runs until 1 am, great time, we did it
