Fort Lauderdale Questions

Jump to last reply

Would like a place on the beach, but I think it will be too pricey for a 3-4 star, and will have to go Priceline. Here's my questions:
1) How far from FL Beach is Hyatt Pier 66 from the beach? Walking distance?
2) Is Hollywood Beach a good alternative to FLauderdale in terms of things to do? It has a boardwalk, is it good?
3) If we stay in Ft Lauderdale, is SE 17th st. a good location for walking distance to restaurants, bars, etc?

Thanks in advance to help to any of those questions. Our preferred spot is on the beach near Las Olas, but it looks too expensive.

Thank you!
