We are leaving on July 20th for a family vacation to Fort Collins. I have posted on here before concerning this but wanted to see if anyone could give me updates since it is getting closer to time? Thoughts/advice??

The High Park Fire west of Ft. Collins was 100% contained as of this weekend. All evacuees have been allowed to retun to their homes.
We have not smelled smoke at our house (central east Fort Collins) since last Tuesday. Highway 14, the Poudre Canyon road, is open again. Things are getting back to normal.
Two unusual items:
1) Bear Lake Road construction in Rocky Mountain National Park can be an inconvenience.
2) Unbelievably hot by our standards, but at least we have power and it still cools off at night.
Have a great visit.
100% contained. Some smoke will continue for awhile, but the fire is out.
Good news!
We are getting the first blast of monsoonal weather starting this evening. Average temperatures for the next few days are 10-15 degrees below what they've been for the past month, and a lot more moisture forecast.
No way of knowing what it will be like in two weeks but we are all loving the change right now!
