Food Suggestions For Single Traveler in Baltimore

I will be traveling solo for 5 days in Baltimore staying near the Mt. Vernon area with access to the Charm City Circulator Purple line. Looking for suggestions for breakfast , lunch and early dinner, casual spots for a solo traveler nothing to expensive.
I like most foods, and open to interesting and unique places to try or just inexpensive places or even fast food type.
Thanks!

Specifically Faidley's in Lexington Market. Cross Street Market was a favourite place of mine to go also. These are lunch places though.

You won't find a better hamburger within 6 blocks of the Inner Harbor than Fudruckers http://baltimore.citysearch.com/prof...ddruckers.html

The Helman serves Afghan cuisine -- more upscale than maybe you want, but absolutely wonderful, and definitely interesting and unique.

On Charles Street just north of W. Madison.

Take the Circulator (Purple) down to Cross Street market. Lots of little restaurants line the streets (Charles and Light) along with little boutiques. Its a safe, friendly, safe neighborhood. You can either take the Circultaor back, or walk along the Inner Harbor. Stay away from the touristy places there.
