Food for Tanglewood

Jump to last reply

Have tix for Fri. and Sat. evening and Sunday afternoon concerts in August -- seats at back of shed (could picnic on lawn with blanket, but not likely to mess with chairs).

First, if you've been there, what can you tell me re: the Tanglewood Cafe and Grill on premises? Food decent, crowded before concerts, worth it?

Second, what about the "Food to Go" option? Is it a good idea? How do we arrange it? Is food good? Or better to get something to-go outside the concert venue and bring it in? (If so, recommendation?)

Third, we'd like to eat at least once in Lenox and walk to the concert, if that's realistic. Any favorites in town? Is walking not that convenient and/or does that put our car at risk for either towing or costly parking back in town?

What's your favorite way to get food before or during the concerts?

Thanx
