Hill-Crest "Museum"

Didn't you get the memo? It's "members only" now -- have you paid your USD$5/day via Visa/MC/PayPal for access rights?
(In a syrupy sweet voice)..
Click your heels three times and maybe the wicked flying geek monkeys will get it fixed soon!: J.
I seem to be okay, if I go into a state and then click on a post. But if I click on a post in the US forum, it doesn't open. Says something like "posts loading to the left". What a bummer.
This is such a pain in the BEHIND!
seems they fixed it AND got rid of the knee thread at the same time...maybe it was the knee of the moderator....
I still have the "knee" ad and I have not had a problem at all. I am not complaining (well except about the "knee ad") but how strange so many Fodorites have had problems here today. I wonder why some do and some do not?
the knees there but the knee thread is gone.
Well...I've never had a knee problem and have no clue what y'all are talking about...BUT...I cannot view posts using my preferred Netscape browser. I had to switch to Firefox. Just started tonight
No problem here AND I don't know what the knee ad is. Do you have pop ups blocked/
I had problems, but not now.

The knee thread is gone, but the knee is still here? That's not RIGHT!
The knee ad is not a pop up ad. It is at the bottom of the screen below the last post..at least that is what I see. I do have a pop up ad blocker on my computer. And for some reason I have not had any problem with the Fodor's website. Strange!!
At this moment, both the knee ad and my posting/opening problems are gone. I'm seeing a GoCard ad, just a blue box with text.
I have the knee.
Had problem - just turned my computer off and back on - now it works.
Had some problems yesterday. Find if I use Mozilla browser it works. With IE it doesn't. Then they were both working. Today back to mozilla works but IE doesn't.
Could it be that people at Fodors know we all need to get off the computer, go to work, do some laundry, mow the lawn, etc.
LoL, gail!! Those were my thoughts yesterday morning when I couldn't get Fodors to work for anything.
LOL, Gail. I just e-mailed BayouGal saying it was probably a good thing I couldn't see posts - maybe I can get some work done today. Oh, but darn, it's working now...
What happened to the knee post anyhow??
Turns out it was the girlfriend of one of the editor's. He didn't want our thread to draw so much attention to the knee that the wife would find out!
So, it's been deleted!
LOL Bayou, finally the secret revealed
So after I had problems with site, I did a load of laundry, went to work for 6 hours, picked up my kid at sports practice, defrosted some shrimp for dinner, yelled at my son to pack for college (although he has to unpack his suitcase from June before he can pack), helped husband pick up car at tire shop.
That is enough work for today, so I am back and site is working.
As Vince Lombardi always said (in my best Howard Cosell imitation) "The KNEE...always the KNEE".
Dang, gail! You choose to be PRODUCTIVE today?
Me too.
