anyone know what the best route / most affordable way to travel from Dallas to Hilton Head?
Are there direct flights into H.H? or do we have to fly into Savannah and then drive from there to HH?
Please advise.
Thank you.

I think it will be Savannah--or Charleston.
There are flights into HHH from DFW with a connection in Charlotte.
Flights into Charleston are about $100 less and are a direct flight.
Have you ever tried websites like Expedia? They give you many options and show closest airports.
If you don't want to do the connecting flight to HHI via Charlotte your best bet is to fly into Savannah then drive (about 45 minutes) to HHI. From airport go north on I-95 for about 15 miles then east on SC-278 for 20 miles and you are there.
We make that trip from DFW every couple of years to visit friends and it's the quickest way to fly and drive. FYI, don't fly into Charleston and try to drive from there, it will take you over 2 hours for the drive.
I thought you had to connect if you went Savannah?
American has non-stops from DFW to SAV.
Delta has a 1-stop (ATL) that flies into SAV from DFW.
