Florida vacation

My husband & I would like to do a Disney/ beach combo vacation in late feb or march. Like to stay on monorail access at Disney for 3 nights & 4 nights at a beach. Dates r flexible & we are. It wedded 2 any beach but would like high 70-low 80 weather ...?? Gulf or east coast?? & nice hotel ON the beach & is there a place to search for what is available on certain dates rather than having to put the dates in first?? Thanx we r a retired couple

Are you at all familiar with the three hotels which have direct "monorail access" and are you asking for some sort of recommendation as to which of those three you should pick?

How are you planning to travel between Orlando and the beach? Car?

The week of Presidents Day in February is winter break for many New England school systems.

The first full week in March with the weekends at both ends is Spring Break for many school systems and colleges elsewhere.

Neither is a great time for you.

It is unlikely to be reliably 80 before late March in central Florida or north from there.

So your windows are Feb-26 to March 3 in South Florida or March 13 and after in Central FL.

If there are three hotels on the monorail, it's not a lot to look up for those dates.

Assuming that you will fly into and out of Orlando, it will probably be closer to find a warm beach on the East Coast though the water will be warmer on the Gulf if you have any thought of going in.

What is your budget for the beach hotel? South Florida will have warmer weather, but that time frame is still high season and that means higher prices. Direct oceanfront also means higher prices too. So, how much are you prepared to spend?

I can tell you that the "season" here on the beach in southeast Florida definitely runs into April and with prices which reflect that.

I would think for convenience, and AGAIN depending on how you are planning to travel from Orlando, the beaches on either side of the state in Central Florida would be easier to reach.

You can, if you like, fly from Orlando to points in both southeast and southwest Florida including as far "south" as Key West.
