Florida Keys ,Please

Jump to last reply

I and my two daughters, 24 and 14, hope to visit the Keys mid to late June this year. We plan to fly into Miami, pick up a rental car and head straight out, as we really don't want to spend too much time in Miami. We figure on a week for the trip, give or take.

We are active and adventurous, not big beach loungers, like good food and enjoy nature. Would prefer accommodations that are a bit upscale or have a lot of charm, preferably oceanfront. Would like to stay on 2-3 keys, with one of them being Key West.

Any suggestions on :
--Which Keys to stay on
--Accommodations (max $300/nt)
--essential experiences...places to see, things to do,etc
--Dry Tortugas...worth visiting? We are avid snorkelers and older girl is certified for diving

Thanks, everyone, for your input!
