Florida Keys Family Camping??

Jump to last reply

I know are many options on where to camp in the Florida Keys. I was hoping to narrow it down to a few good suggestions. Hoping to go in October.

I'm looking for:
*tent camping for family of four with kids 11yr and 12yr.
*trees on the site
*prefer to not be by the highway (like one site I was looking at)
*have water access for two kayaks
*perhaps dock 30ft boat??
*a bit of space unlike some sites where campers are stacked on top of each other
*clean bathing/toilet area (some reviews I read are scary!)
*a pool?

We live in South Florida and visit the keys but not to camp. I'm eager for suggestions.

Thank you.
