What is there to do in Fish Creek? We might be there for a week and really aren't into water sports. Do we need a car? Are there interesting places close by to drive to?
Thanks!

Yes - you do need a car. April is too early for water sports anyway - the water will be FREEZING cold, but beautiful none the less.
I'll defer to others for the "to do" list. Lots of parks to walk and bike. I love Door County!
Do you mean Fish Creek or Fish Lake? I've been to Fish Lake and I think that it is in Door County, but not Fish Lake. Anyplace in that area should be quite cool in April, unless Global warming drastically intensifies this year. When we stayed at Fish Lake, we rented a home on the Lake. It was beautiful but there were no restaurants or attractions right there. You had to drive to Sauk City or Prarie du Sac, small nearby towns. But if you bring your own groceries and just love the outdoors, hills, deer, coyote howls and you won't get bored, it's perfect! If you have a vehicle and you will be staying for several days or a week, you're not too far from the Dells, and there are all kinds of attractions there.
Door County, where Fish Creek is, has many fun spots to visit but April will still be cool since there is water on both sides of the county. You will need a car since the charm of the area is the various small towns with quaint shops, etc. Even in the summer, there are few water sports other than boating and fishing because the water is still cold. There are great state parks for hiking and biking, but it might be too early for that depending on the spring weather. Google Door County WI to get a better idea of places to see and things to do while you are there. It is very popular and crowded in the summer but beautiful in the fall. The cherries and apples alone are worth a fall trip.
April will be chilly, as everyone says. But Fish Creek is probably my favorite spot in Door County. I love the White Gull Inn, it is very charming and quaint. Here is a link:

There are also lots of good restaurants and some wineries you can tour nearby as well. And great shopping in both Fish Creek, Egg Harbor, and surrounding places. I agree with others that you will need a car as well. Have fun!
Thank you all for your help and suggestions!
