FireSky Resort In Scottsdale

Hello,
Does anyone know about this resort? I am returning to Scottsdale and am thinking about this resort. I have stayed at the Four Seasons Scottsdale several times and I love it. I planned to return, but then I saw this resort at a great price. I love that the Four Seasons is close to Pinnacle Peak for a great hike and is somewhat secluded and away from town. It looks like FireSky is close to Old Town and that is the part that I'm not sure about. It seems convenient to restaurants but maybe not as tranquil. How far is it from good hiking? Do you think the Four Seasons is worth it or should I give FireSky a try? Thank you!

I really like staying at Kimptons. IF you do stay there, join the In Touch program and get free wifi.
I haven't stayed at FireSky so cant give you specifics.

We absolutely love The Royal Palms. They were having a sale just recently, not sure of the dates. It is beautiful, secluded but a short ride to anything.

We passed by FireSky when we were there in March -- it's a rebranded hotel, maybe formerly a Ramada? It looks "okay", but certainly nothing on the order of a Four Seasons.

We stayed this winter. NOT the Four Seasons but we liked it a lot. Good location, fun happy hour with drinks and snacks, nice pools, great staff. The rooms are clean and nice, not fancy. We would go back in a minute. We also stayed at the Montelucia and preferred the Firesky, but that is us.

Montelucia is pretty far out of the way. We had dinner there and it was no comparison to The Royal Palms.
