I'm a blogger for the Finger Lakes Region of Western NY. Would love suggestions on destinations/activities that I should cover for my readers.

Thinking of trips we did when staying up there with family...
The 1890 house in Cortland
Ithaca - Cornell Plantation, etc
Corning Glass Museum
Watkins Glenn
Buttermilk Falls
Apple Orchards!!
Pierce's 1894 Restaurant in Elmira Heights, NY for upscale dining. Excellent food, excellent service, excellent wine list. The decor is something out of, well, 1894, but it only adds to the charm of the place. Given the relative paucity of quality restuarants in the Finger Lakes, this place shines.
I believe Pierce's is now closed. Joe Pierce, the former owner and afamily member is a sales rep for a liquor company. It was nice in its heyday - but unfortunately the business changed.
