While on the east side of the island I'd build in a little time to explore that area. There is some truly amazing scenery along the coastline, tidepool snorkeling, and a park with a volcanically heated natural swimming pool. Maybe Thursday morning you can take a drive around there before you go to the west side.

Also, while in Oahu, you can do both Diamond Head and the North Shore. Pearl Harbor won't take all day. If you do the Diamond Head hike, start early as it gets HOT quickly in the day. You may want to visit Lanikai for the amazing powdered sugar beach.

Otherwise--sounds good to me.

It looks like they are in Hawaii for almost two weeks, not one.

What is the name of the park with the volcanically heated natural swimming pool? Sounds like it would be worth a trip! I will check out Lanikai as well. Thanks for the suggestions!

That would be Ahalanui, and be sure to shower off when leaving.

I've only been to Oahu. Make sure you do some snorkelling. Really enjoyed the hike to Manoa Falls. Also liked the Dole Plantation...mainly for the frozen pineapple stuff (gelato/ice cream?)

You're on your honeymoon. Choose at least two days where you plan no activities.

Make sure you don't book your helicopter trip out of Hilo. It rains so much there that helicopter trips are frequently canceled.
