February - clothing to pack for Scottsdale

We are going to Scottsdale for a long weekend beginning February 19th. We are from the great white north and have never been to the southwest. Can anyone recommend what to pack for that time of year for women? Jeans, capris, shorts, dresses? Is it too cool for sandals? Too cool to swim? Do I need a jacket? How warm of a jacket?
Thanks!!!!!

The average high is in the low 70s. That's very pleasant, but to me it's not particularly warm. However, for you, from the "great white north", it might seem downright tropical. I'd plan on capris, spring-weight slacks and a light jacket, maybe throw in shorts and a bathing suit just in case.

The desert can get pretty cold at night, so I suggest layers under your jacket. Definitely bring closed toed shoes, too.

No matter what the temperature is outside, the air conditioning will be on inside. Bring a light sweater or jacket for evening. Sandals are never out of season in Scottsdale. As far as swimming, most of the big hotels will heat the pool to accommodate winter guests.
