I have been to the spa at the Grand Wailea and the spa at the Hyatt, both on Maui. They're both very, very nice. The Grand Wailea spa is overall bigger and more ornate--it has a roman feel and different baths to try (papaya, mud, etc.)--but I really liked the vibe of the Hyatt's spa. It's right on the beach and you can sit and watch the ocean while waiting for your treatment.

The Anara Spa at the Kaua`i Hyatt is very nice. We gave each other gift certificates for our birthdays this year that we plan to use this summer. They remodeled it about a year and a half ago. Good therapists and very comfortable surroundings. You can buy day passes to use the facilities without getting treatments which is nice.

The Hyatt's Anara Spa is great. I have done the mini day at the spa 3-4 times and it is fantastic. The Anara facial sends me into outer space. So....relaxing. Also there is a full service salon if you want to get a manicure or have your hair done. The spa pool is a lap pool but very private and the lounge chairs so comfortable. A nice place to unwind after treatments. The fruit smoothies are a great refresher after all that pampering...Just go, it is a great place.
