Sunsetdinner at the Beach House Restaurant near Poipu.
Many scenic options for dinner at the Princeville Resort and Bali Hai Restaurant of adjacent Hanalei Bay Resort.

Clarkgriswold, how was your meal a disappointment at A Pacific Cafe? I'm so sorry to hear that, as that is my fave restaurant in the Islands. I know his restaurants on Maui folded....... I don't understand; Jean Marie Josselin is such a wonderful chef.....

I also used to like A Pacific Cafe but the last time I was there 2 years ago, I said it would be my last. Food not up to par, too noisy and terrible service. I cast another vote for Roy's for food and Beach House for sunset. There is also the Camp HOuse which is a "funky" restaurant in Hanapepe. Not much to look at but campy and good food. Good sushi restaurant in Hanalei but can't remember the name. Blue ....?

I read the question and I was like, 'Neide's, and then I was going 'Um, except Duke's was really good too,' and 'Oh, the Onion soup at Tidepools was really good.' The only disappointment we had in two weeks was the Beach House.
