I just found out I'll have a few days off next week, and want to make the most of it. Really would love to just check out of the hustle and rush of the city, and wanted to get opinions on favorite spas, or especially relaxing hotels on the east coast. I'll be leaving from NYC, so open to a short flight for a worthwile "rehab".

Two great spas close to me in PA and they are both top notch.
www.nemacolin.com at Nemacolin 5* resort in Farmington, PA and at Seven Springs Mountain Resort in Champion, PA. http://www.7springs.com/
The Resort at Nemacolin will probably be more pricy as it is more exclusive and has the 5* rating, but if you can indulge....
The Resort at Seven Springs is much more rustic with newly remodeled rooms and interior, the spa just opened this spring. I visited in early June and I have to say I thought it was more beautiful than Nemacolin's. The room rates won't be as high here, either.
Would be an hour flight or so from NY to Pittsburgh, than about 1 to 1 1/2 hour drive to either.
