After trying to find a site for a family reunion (about 60-75)in the west, we are now checking out the midwest. We were trying to stay in the middle of the U.S. so all members could attend but not finding anything suitable. We would like to rent cabins/homes (reasonably priced - not more than $300 per night)that will accommodate large families (12) and medium size (6/8), have some activities close by for all ages. Any suggestions?

We stayed in the lodge at Brown County State Park a couple of years ago. I don't know whether they have cabins. But it's worth checking out:

Realize your post is from 2008, but wanted to tell you that our family has had reunions in the family cabins with kitchens at Abe Martin Lodge in Brown Co. State Park. They sleep 8 and are about $300. a night. They also have smaller cabins (2-6 people-no kitchens). It is beautiful and lots of things to do. Town of Nashville just north is fun.
