Family Camping at Klamath Lake and Crater Lake. What should we do?

Jump to last reply

We are leaving for a family camping trip in late August and are planning on camping at Rocky Point Resort on sort of the north western side of Klamath Lake. We have 2 kids (ages almost 2 and almost 4).

What should we do while we're there?

We're planning on not seeing Crater Lake until we depart--then spending a full day there and crashing at a hotel that night on our way to the Redwood to continue our camping trip.

Is about 5 hours of daylight enough time to take in Crater Lake? Or are we going to miss out on something?

What about the town of Klamath Falls?
