The drive along the west side of Hood Canal is beautiful all year, but never more so than when foliage is peaking, as it is now (October 19).
We took the ferry from Edmonds to Kingston, stopped at the delightful town of Port Gamble, and then drove via Quilcene south on 101 and then east on 106 through Union and Belfair and on to Seabeck where we spent the night with family. Beautiful!
