Daughter says the leaves are already beginning to turn in the higher elevations in Virginia. Been a drought in the south. They may be early--maybe end of the first week?
It's hard to predict exactly but I have family in the Wheeling and Ohio River area and I'd guess probably the 2nd-3rd week, in general. Maybe 3rd-4th if you mean the panhandle area towards Maryland. There is a section on fall foliage for updates on weather.com, here it is
