Has anyone stayed at the Embassy Suites in
Napa Valley. Is it a nice property?

I live in the Town of Yountville--just North of Napa. Be sure to visit this cute little town. The Embassy Suites in Napa is a lovely property--but it is right on Highway 29. Ask for a room away from this main road. I have not stayed in the hotel, but I have seen the rooms. They are very nice. The dining area at the property is lovely.

Fine place to stay. You won't regret it. Not particularly noisy even the rooms close to the road, Good breakfast and great happy hour. Go for it.

Thanks for your input. Although not all Embassy Suites are created equal, it's usually hard to go wrong by staying in an Embassy Suites. I look forward to visiting Napa Valley.

We stayed there recently and I concur with Connie. Definitely request a room away from the freeway. Also, request a room that isn't inside the atrium, but that opens in the outdoor courtyard, near the outdoor pool, preferably. Those rooms are the quietest and the courtyard is lovely.

I live a couple blocks from this property. I would truly be disappointed if I booked it and arrived. It just seems so contrived to me. There are always lots of cars there, so obviously some others will disagree. I think I would prefer St. Helena, Yountville, or something that is nearer to the vineyards or at least the quieter stretch of 29.
