Edison NJ, parking for NJ Transit

Jump to last reply

I am having no luck calling Parking America to get my question answered, so thought I'd check here.

I see that the parking lots for NJ transit cost just $4 a day, but it appears they are lock boxes. Is it possible to park on Friday afternoon around 5 and leave the car there until Monday afternoon (which will be President's Day, by the way)? How does that work with a lock box situation? Can we put $12 in the box with a note that it is for three days and also a note on our windshield to that effect? Does anyone KNOW, not just guess, which I can do as well? Or is there an attended lot there?

And yes, I know we could leave the car somewhere else -- like New Brunswick, but there is a lot of difference between $12 for three days and $66 for three days.
