easiest DC airport for teenager

My 16 year old will be attending a leadership conference in DC in March. Will travel alone and be met by conference staff. Which DC airport is most convenient and easy to navigate (traveling from D/FW)?

Thanks

My 16 year old went from DFW to Reagan National alone and got on the Metro and met me at the Ritz Carlton Pentagon City.
Reagan National is simple, simple, simple.
It seems the conference staff would have a preference... Dulles is not convenient if the event is in DC.

Thanks for the info. The staff will pick them up at any of 3 airports and did not state a preference. I thought that Reagan would be better, but I haven't been to DC in years.

National Airport (sorry, I just can't bring myself to call it R*****) is by far the easiest to use if your son is heading into DC. The Metro stops right at the terminal. Just give him a heads up on what to expect at the station - like buying a farecard, and which train he should look for.
I'm sure he'll have a great time!

I've used them all and none is really better/worse than another. Surely the conference staff will provide specific directions for the "meeting place". I'd go with the best fare.

I also recommend National Airport. It is much less busy and hectic than Dulles or BWI. Very unintimidating airport for travelers, and smaller, too.
