What are the dates of the festival? Can one visit the cranberry bogs and see the berries harvested? Are there motels available without reservations or should one plan to spend the day but stay overnight farther away? Are there any special events that should not be missed? Is Saturday or Sunday better if one can be there one day and primary interest is cranberry harvesting?
Thank you for any information about this festival and schedule.

Looks like it's the first weekend in October. Check out eagleriver.org for more information. Generally you can visit the bogs and watch the harvesting. Haven't been to the one in Eagle River but have been to Stone Lake for their festival. Have fun!
