My husband and I are considering a long weekend in Durango in November. We're hoping to do a lot of outdoor activities. Will the weather prohibit this? Please email at 'cinciblake@msn.com'. Thanks.

In Colorado, you can have any kind of weather at any time. In November, you might be stuck in a cold blizzard or find yourself getting a tan under a warm sun. You didn't say what kind of outdoor activities. Water sports are out. But depending on the current conditions, a low altitude hike or snowshoe/cross country trip is entirely posible. Mesa Verde is open all year. There are great hot springs in nearby Pagosa Springs. Horseback riding is possible, but not too likely late in November.Durango has a nice main street. The Strater is a fun hotel. Hope that helps
