It's approx. 600 miles, so it would take you a little over 9 hours.(This would not include stops for breaks or meals).

I've done this drive and a little over nine hours is exactly how long it takes.

It's grueling because it is nine hours of I-95.

I've done it in nine. If you like to drive and don't mind it's not that bad of a drive. I would rather drive I-95 than most hwys and interstates.

It's also kind of interesting to see some of the little towns dotted along the way.

can anyone suggest somewhere nice to stay to break the journey? Nine hours sounds far too much driving in one day

Daytona Beach or New Smyrna Beach if you want to drive inland.

Nothing on I-95 except for some rest stops.

BTW, I'd rather go ahead and make the drive. I-95 is a heavily congested interstate.
