Hello!
We will be visiting Steamboat Springs in February - My husband, 11 yr old son, and 8 yr old daughter, and I. Hubby and son love downhill while my girl and I love x-country. Can anyone recommend a place that offers both or would they be 2 separate places?
TIA!

Hey Tia,
There are lot's of resorts that have both cross country and downhill right next to each other. Keystone and Breckenridge are both great for this and I believe that Steamboat does as well.
Both of these resorts offer Nordic Bucks that can get you $10 off a lesson or x-country ski pass or gear depending on the location.
You can check out some of those offers here. (http://www.coloradocrosscountry.com/NewsEvents/NordicBucks.aspx)
All you have to do is just mention that you saw the Nordic Bucks Deal online.
Hope your trip is a blast.
There's no cross country at Steamboat ski resort but there is cross country skiing in the general area. Beaver Creek has a cross country area on the mountain.
