We stopped at the Donut Plant in the lobby of the Chelsea Hotel today. They were out of that killer donut the Sid Vicious Vanilla O'd but their chcolate blackout has moved to the top my donut favorites. It is incredibly moist and chocolately. For those of you who are real old, it reminded me of the Ebinginger's Blackout cake but with an edge. Worth a trip from anywhere.

Thanks for the info, I will try the cholocate blackout the next time I go into the city.
You are welcome.
Ebinger's - what a memory!
And I thought there was a power outage downtown that I somehow missed!
Mmmmm donuts.
I also feared a power outage. I recommend their Mango donuts for those who are not chocolate lovers.
There is not a bad donut in the joint. And the original location has expanded so you can now sit.
