disneyland

We are planning to visit Disneyland in late March. My daughter wants to stay in the park because of convenience and the extra hour in the park. The hotels are running between %00-$600, probably more than I am willing to spend. I am pretty certain there are a lot of hotels just outside of the park. Does anyone have any recommendations?

There are tons. What is your budget and what kind of amenities are you looking for?

Clean and close to the park. Amenities are not as necessary since we will be gone most of the day. I called Candy Cane and howard Johnson and we can get a room for 170 which seems reasonable.

I've stayed at Candy Cane, and a couple of the nearby Best Westerns over the years. They were perfectly decent, and most included free parking and a continental breakfast. It was always nice to get something in the kids' stomachs for free before we got into the park!

I never felt the need to spend the extra money, and I don't think our kids ever knew the special character breakfasts even existed. I guess if someone feels that Disneyland is a 'once in a lifetime event' it might be more important though.

Pretty much anything fits your criteria then. My family has stayed at Candy Cane, so that's probably what I'd pick.

If you buy a 3 day or more Parkhopper ticket online you also get one Magic Morning with one hour early entry to Disneyland.
