Disney Character Dinner
We are planning a disney world vacation for November 2011. I would like to book 1 character meal. What is the best one for a 6 year old girl and 8 year old boy?

Partly depends on what characters you like. We really enjoyed Crystal Palace for breakfast (with Winnie and friends, and the food was quite good), but it might not be everyone's first choice. Chef Mickey's is extremely popular, but it is big and noisy, and I have heard rather mixed things about the food.

1900 Park Fare gets good marks, but I'm not personally familiar with it. Keep in mind that Disney does switch around both the character rosters, and exactly which meals are available where from time to time. Since you know when you are going, you should make your reservations as early as possible (Disney will accept them 180 days out).

The two we enjoyed the most were the Breakfast at Tusker House in the Animal Kingdom and the Dinner at the Crystal Palace. I actually really enjoyed the food at the Crystal Palace...surprised at how much. Tusker was good, too. However, it is really hard to mess up breakfast so it has a lower bar, I suppose.
