"Dirty Linen" soiree in New Orleans

I've heard this will be going on while I am in NOLA in August but have no idea what the deal is...I know it is on Royal St. & 'art related' but that is about it. I guess it was started in response to the "White Linen" soiree in a neighboring area. Anybody been to either one ? What the heck is it, exactly ?
