Dinimg in Miami (South Beach)

We will be staying at the Caedozo, so we will be more at the north end of Ocean Drive in South Beach. Although we will have a car, I usually prefer to find restaurants that we can walk to. Any suggestions for restaurants around this area? We pretty much like all types of food.

I've dined at a few restaurants in the area, but the only one that sticks in my mind is Mangoes. The food was good and service was acceptable (we ate on the sidewalk on a VERY busy night), but if you don't like being jostled, try daytime or inside. A well-traveled friend also recommends it.

South Beach is very very walkable. You can swing up to Lincoln Road's 8023909840928 restaurants really easily from where you're staying.

Gonna have to agree with GoTravel about Mango's. It's a fun/amusing for an hour or two, but it's very much a tourist trap. The scantily-clad bartenders (male and female) get up on the bar to do choreographed dances and whatnot. This goes on all day.

I had a very nice dinner at Nemo, but it's at the other end of South Beach so you might take a cab.

In my opinion the Emeril's there is the best one there is outside of New Orleans. We had an amazing meal there. He isn't just coasting on his name like the one in Vegas.

As far as my budget goes, it mostly depends on whether the restaurant is actually worth what it is charging.I know that South Beach can be very expensive, and that a moderately priced restaurant will still probably cost $100 or more for a couple. So probably some in both ranges would be great.
