Destin Fl Vacation - Oil Spill Worries

First, and foremost, my heart goes out to everyone in the Gulf states, and everyone that has been affected thus far by this horrible tragedy. Especially to the families who lost the 11 men due to the negligence and the incompetence of BP and its supporters. And of course, I pray for our environment and all the marine life that do not deserve this devastation....they are helpless and have done nothing wrong. I'm sorry you folks are going through such turmoil right now....I'm sure it will trickle to many more. God help us all!

I have been vacationing in Destin Florida for the past 8 years, and nothing beats it! It's a great family vacation for rest, relaxation and tons of things to do in a beautiful part of the world! We are scheduled to go for the first 2 weeks in August, and I can't bring myself to cancel. I am still being optimistic that somehow the oil will be controlled and getting scooped up to where it will be far off shore. If anyone has any info, I would certainly appreciate it! Thanks so much!!!!
