I have the option of staying at Hotel Ft. Des Moines or Renaissance Savery Hotel. Which is nicer?

1st time to Kauai! Will not be the last!

Check the opinions on it at www.biddingfortravel.com. It looks as though the Renaissance Savery has been remodeled recently from the reviews.
Both are old hotels, but I think you will be satisifed with either. You can get a great rate for the Savery on Priceline,(check on Biddingfortravel.com) but you could also end up at the Marriott downtown and that wasn't one of your choices.
I enjoyed the Savery on my last visit to Des Moines. Great location, comfortable and clean, interesting historic significance. However, I have not seen Ft. Des Moines to compare. I love Des Moines and the terrific surrounding towns - have fun!
Happy Trails,
Paul
PS They have one heck of a state fair in August!
