Denver Light Rail

I have some questions about planning a trip to Denver.
Does the light rail go to the airport?
How can I find out about hotels near the light rail?

I'll be at the convention center, then have to catch the red-eye back home.
Thanks!

Light rail doesn't go to the airport. But the bus does. Can't help beyond that.

Check out www.rtd-denver.com and click on Light Rail in the upper right for full information on the Light Rail system in Denver. It does not go to the airport, but there is good bus service from downtown (Market St. Station) near the Convention Center. Click on skyRide on the RTD page for information. If you're attending a convention, you'd probably want to stay downtown for convenience to public transportation, which is a lot more bus than rail here.

OK. Thanks! Any ideas for a place to stay @$100. Near public transportation out in the suburbs would be fine.

Try the Denver Tech Center -- SE along the I-25 Corridor. Many of the hotels are within walking distance of a station. And those that are not are connected via small circulating bus. Check directly with the hotel for details. The first intersection for hotels would be Colorado and I-25.

Isn't the Tech Center a bit south of that intersection? I agree about looking at that area, and especially on Hotwire or Priceline.

For one night at the end of May (25th) we got a room at the Downtown Sheraton for $75+fees on Priceline. I think it was $92 all told. It's a great location and a nice hotel, about 5 blocks from the convention center. I'd definitely try Priceline or Hotwire to see what you can get.
