April is probably the most unpredictable month of the entire year. It could be a raging snowstorm or it could be 80 degrees and sunny. We have had Aprils with 30 inches of snow and Aprils with no snow. An average day would be sunny and mid 60's. I would go in May or June if you can but if that doesnt work out I am sure you could still have a great time in April.

I was in Denver one April - it was in the 70s one day and the next day I woke up to a few inches of snow. The neat thing was that since the pavement was still warm from the day before, all the snow melted on the roads and sidewalks. Very convinient. I think they should do it that way all the time

It is dice roll but the odds favor nice weather. It will be Spring weather. April is our 2nd snowiest month and May the wettest. Obviously early April might have snow and late April rain. But that is way they invented raincoats.
