Would love to revisit a cider mill I remember (24 years ago) somewhere along the Delaware Water Gap, I think in New York State but could be wrong. Also, anyone know of any accomodations/attractions in the area appropriate for 2 stressed-out adults and 8 year-old this fall? Thanks!

Apple picking is always a good time. Orange County / Warwick in NY may be what you remember, but it isn't really in the Gap or river area.
www.orangetourism.org/Category.html#anchor199122
lists U-Pick orchards in Warwick. Some also have cider mills.
The Apple Fest is usually the first week in October. Pa and NY have fests. NJ has a brochure on U-Pick places, which may be a connection to a cider mill
