DC Blossom Kite Festival

Jump to last reply

The Cherry Blossom Festival is one of my favorite events in DC and this has been my second year attending. One of the best events during the festival is the Blossom Kite Festival because it allows you to appreciate an art form that often isn't seen by the general public. It is also a fun event for families because there are multiple activity tents set up and large grassy areas to fly kites. I would definitely recommend attending this event next year, especially because it gives you something else to enjoy if the trees haven't yet begun to bloom.

If you are interested in learning more about the kite blossom festival visit: http://blossomkitefestival2013.wordpress.com/ to see stories, pictures, and tweets from the day of the event.
