Day trips from WDW at Christmastime

Jump to last reply

My husband, younger daughter and I will be staying at the Coronado Springs from 12/22 to 12/27 while visiting our older daughter who works in the MK.

Given that the parks will be extremely crowded at that time, we thought about visiting other destinations on day trips....Tampa, St. Augustine, Cape Canaveral,,

Has anyone ever done this? Any feel for which areas might be less crowded?

Any recommendations are greatly appreciated.

One final question....how horrible is the crowding? Can you actually walk comfortably in the parks, or will you be shoulder to shoulder?

Thanks in advance everyone!
