I wouldn't go to either park in a single day, much less attempting both from Vegas. And I wouldn't go with a tour company because you are going to go where they want you to go. You are likely to spend a lot of your time in Springdale and at Ruby's and not even be in the park that long.

Let me phrase it this way: any company that says it can give a one-day trip from Vegas to BOTH of these parks is, by the fact of their making that claim, NOT a reliable company. Certainly not a company I would trust with my money, no matter how comfortable its transport is.

I googled it, found a company that does both parks for $155 per person. I think they pick you up at 7am and drop you off at 6pm. The tour description really was little more than a drive-thru of Zion with a couple stops, and then a few stops at Bryce viewpoints with a lunch. If that sounds interesting then go for it but it sounds awful to me.

WhereAreWe found one, probably the one that I knew about. It is a veerryry loooong day spent mostly driving, with, as WAW says, a drive by of Zion. You don't have time to even go into the main canyon which in my opinion is the reason to see Zion. But is it a scenic drive if that is all you want. THe stops at Bryce may not give you time to take a short hike down into the hoodoos. But it would be nice to see it.
