Day Trip Reports? May/June
I've been doing a lot of exploring recently in preparation for tours or just because...There are lots of great exhibitions etc that will continue to be open through out the summer and events that will recur. Taste of Times Square, Shakespeare in the Park, Manhattanhenge, Drifting in Daylight etc. It might no longer be Independent Bookstore Day but these places are still open for business. The off Broadway runs of show I have seen might be over but they are in theaters that always have interesting stuff. I will be posting more events in June. The links might be useful and you can find them all on my blog.

Here are more possibilities from today until June 14. Actually the Uptown Stroll goes all month and the Kulturefest lasts a week and I forgot the Puerto Rican day parade.

I've add more stuff for the rest of June. Museum Mile was a zoo as usual but night at the downtown museums is only in its second year. I'm betting it's still going to be reasonably quiet. If anyone wants to head down there with others, June 23 3PM Grand Central.

Make Music NY is coming up on the 21st and that's the last day that the pianos will be in the streets. I know it's Fathers Day and I know the weather doesn't look great but if anyone wishes to do a free concert and piano crawl to Smorgasburg. Let me know.

After going to the preview of the Folk City exhibit at the Museum of the City of NY. I am psyched to escape the City and return to the 60's of the Clearwater Festival tomorrow (the good weather day). It was great last year.
