Day tour to Grand Canyon From Sedona
My Sister and I are going to be in Sedona for the 4th of July weekend and I would like to day tour to Grand Canyon. I see a few different tour groups. Any recommendations?
And in Sedona - Pink Jeep Tour as good as everyone says?

J62. Obviously thousands of people each summer would disagree with you. Personally, I wouldn't take the train but I don't care for trains. Nobody suggested taking the train roundtrip; it can be taken one way with a shuttle return. Even if taken round trip, there are several hours to see the Canyon. On a one day trip, it's not as if OP is going to hike the Canyon. Trains run on a tight schedule so no need to "wait around" for a train. The one way train takes about 2 hours so not much difference between time on train vs. time on shuttle. I believe when we respond to a post's question, we should provide accurate personal knowledge and options and let the OP decide.

I hold the same belief.
The day excursions you mention are reviewed on TripAdvisor. I have had good luck booking excursions that are highly rated on TripAdvisor. The cost would be about $200 plus tips and meals for each of you.
If you don’t want to rent a car and drive, a tour that will pick you up and drop you off at your hotel would be a good way to start and end a tiring day of travel.

I see the Pink Jeeps at the GC and in rain or on a hot day, the people riding in the back of them (they're open, no A/C) look miserable. If you don't want to rent a car and go up on your own, I second the Arizona Shuttle - and maybe the train one way if that's your thing.
