Wow, ahhnold, we must have seen a different show. I don't know what the tickets are going for now, but I saw Danny Gans and thought he was Wonderful. He was an all around entertainer in that he sang, danced, told jokes and kept us entertained the entire evening (didn't see anyone sleeping). I personally think that the shows are way overpriced in Vegas (first saw Danny Gans for $15 dollars) and I'm sure his tickets are about five times more by now. By the way if you like Rich Little, I think he's better. If you go, I hope you won't be disappointed.

I don't know what you're looking for in a show, but I've heard both - that Danny Gans is great and that he isn't so great anymore since he's unhappy with his contract at the Mirage. I do know that there are other great shows - and shows that don't cost as much. One is Clint Holmes at Harrah's - his is a really good show and last time I checked it was much less than Danny Gans.
Another really terrific show is at Bally's - they're called the Society of Seven. They're from Hawaii and very talented, funny and great entertainers. The show costs about $42.50 pp and is the best bet on the Strip.

I went with my brother last year. He liked the show a lot, I didn't like it very much.
My brother was impressed by his versatility and dead-on impressions of celebrities. I felt like I was being held captive, like at a family get-together where everyone is shushed into silence while somebody's talented child demonstrates a roster of accomplishments.
We did both agree that we would rather be gambling.

Danny Gans "gets sick alot, especially on weekdays..." because he is unhappy and wants out of his contract with the Mirage - doesn't make me want to rush out and pay all that money for tickets to the show.
